We have attached two videos (compressed to meet data requirements) to this folder that display examples of our Pebble Identification method.
When there is no pebble in the video, we automatically speed it up until we can find a digit area detection.

In the videos, you will see pebbles roll by with Highest Confidence and Final Identification.
Highest Confidence indicates the most probable digits for the pebble but we have not collected enough digits to make a confident final classification. This still acts as a pebble identification in the case we cannot make a confident final classification.
Final Identification indicates we collected many confident individual digit recognitions for each digit in the number and were able to make a confident final classification for the pebble.

The time displayed in the top left hand corner is the real time the pebbles are rolling by. You can see that many will come within a 30 second period.

For your understanding, the pebbles that will be seen in order for each video are as follows:
Inlet Example: 350 223 230 185 228 217 221 227 346 351
Outlet Example: 184 229 190 182 230 179

In addition, we have included a PDF that contains a larger version of Figure 6 from the paper and tables comparing results from using a wide variety of object detection models.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our supplementary material. We appreciate it!
